陳怡茵(Chen, Yi Yan) is a fearless, energetic and dedicated artist from Hong Kong. She is obtaining her second degree from LIU Post with a BFA in Musical Theatre this May.

Her first degree is a BEd in Music education in Education University in Hong Kong, where she spent a lot of time playing classical piano, being a percussionist in symphony band and singing in choir.

She found her love in theatre there by joining the musical theatre society, since then, she did a lot of community theatre and film and TV at home. She was obsessed with how different kind of artistic mediums can merge together, to tell a story that inspire people. Long story short, she decided to persuade a second degree in New York, and here she is now!

During her journey in New York, she got to assistant stage managed for Urinetown in school, she became obsessed with Shakespeare and even became a teaching assistant for Shakespeare class, did two TYA shows and performed in 54 below and the Greenroom.

Besides theatre and music, whenever she has time, she goes visit her nieces and nephew, she has one(5) in Denver and two(14 and 16) in Hong Kong and she’s very close to them. She also loves knitting!
